Now, What I Thought:

I've never actually done a movie review before so please don't compare this to the blogs that focus mainly on these. I was browsing Netflix just 2 hours ago and I came across this film and I thought, "Oh what the hell, I want to feel inspired." Boy did I make the right choice!!! I really thoroughly enjoyed this movie! Something I did not know coming into it, was that it's actually an adaptation from Scott Spencer's novel, Endless Love, published in 1979. Whether I'll go ahead and read the book, I haven't decided yet, but I will definitely write a review on it if I do. This movie was very romantic yet inspiring. I found myself relating to Jade quite often and I understood what she felt and was going through. I really loved the character David. I found him genuinely sweet and caring, and those are traits that many lead male roles nowadays often lack. As for Alex Pettyfer, meh. I was never a fan of the actor, I found the only thing wrong with the casting part was him, everyone else was beautifully casted. I did like his little british accent cameo in the film; FYI, the actor is actually from the UK so that's why I did find it funny when he whipped that out.

Can I just express how much I love the actress who played Jade! She was fantastic! I honestly couldn't think of a better actress to play such a beautiful, timid, butterfly of a character! I use the word butterfly because I really did feel like she just opened up and blossomed (Jade, not the actress haha) towards the middle and was finally getting to live her life. You could really tell that her eldest brother's death affected her more than it did Keith (Jade's other older brother). I really liked that we even got insight on Keith's own relationship and the parents! Their mother really is such a cool person and so understanding. I liked that small detail that she was a pronounced writer before and how we got some knowledge on how her life has changed.

I did often understand where Hugh, Jade's father, was coming from, definitely. I understood that suddenly this boy comes into her life and she wants to drop and throw away her ambition for med school just to spend more time with him. It would seem absurd if that happened in real life and I'm more than sure my own father would act the exact same way, if not more aggressive. The producer really made him the 'antagonist' of the film when they added some details about his marriage (for obvious reasons I won't name what). I still actually liked him better than David's father, Harry. For some reason Harry really rubbed me the wrong way. I found him shallow and just wanting his son to stay and take over the shop. A parent is supposed to let their children go at some point to find their dream and live their own life, not keep them back with guilt for leaving you. I just didn't like how Harry approached things and his hesitation when David was clearly so happy to even be considering college.

All in all, I really enjoyed this film and I will probably re-watch it soon, as I usually do with my favourites. This has definitely been added to "My List" on my Netflix account, rest assured. The drama was fantastic, the romance was amazing and the whole journey between Jade and David was absolutely lovely. The movie left me inspired and really happy so all pluses for me! Go watch it!!!!

Now, What I Thought:

This was actually really good! Surprisingly, I was not expecting to like this as much as I did. It had a weird type of fantasy world, which just felt too far fetched but I really liked how the words and events just flowed smoothly and how the introduction to the characters were. In the beginning we get Lily, she's supposed to be a regular, lucky enough to be mated to the King's son, shifter. But dun dun dun, instead she's really this mystical hybrid between a shifter and a vampire -gasp-. As weird as their world was and just how Dawn came up with stuff to add, I really did enjoy it and it was funny at a lot of parts!

Again, Lily is dating the Shifter King's son and those two are inseparable. Everyone either hates Lily or wants to be her, and Lily is totally good hearted and doesn't seem to care or notice too much. Then, Lily finds herself being named the future Queen of Shifters in only a couple days. Still in shock from loads of events that came spiralling at her, she doesn't quite understand the huge responsibility. This is when we get to fully understand the characters seeing as they are all the heirs to their throne: Ezra the Vampire, Jack the Elemental, Pearl the Mage and finally Lily the Shifter.

My favourite character out of everyone in this book had to be Ezra! Not only because he's this sexy, dark and dangerous vampire but because he actually saw sense and was the smartest one. He seemed to know what to do no matter what happened to the group and he always protected them. It was a fun book to read and really had the elements and magic involved which I liked. Instead of it being strictly one thing, Dawn put all of the fantasy, paranormal genre's together into one book. You guys should definitely read this if you want cute mate scenes, sexy vampire scenes and action induced magic scenes!

Now, What I Thought:

This was awesome! It really made a difference with Edward's P.O.V straight from the beginning. I loved hearing his thoughts and how abrasive he was towards Bella in the start. Which, if you've read Twilight, Bella's approach towards Edward is anything but abrasive, in fact the opposite. We finally get to read where he went after meeting her in Biology class that first day. I liked this, it filled a lot of holes and made me understand Edward way more better. Now, this is a partial draft because it was leaked before Meyer had time to finish it, but for a partial draft I was pretty satisfied. I really only wanted to read how Edward thought of Bella in the beginning when they first met.

For the progress on where Midnight Sun is, writing wise, she hasn't let out any announcement whether she is even going to finish it. When Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined (10th anniversary edition) came out she actually said in an interview she was afraid that people were going to think that it would be the finished copy of Midnight Sun. This is pretty much a sure way of us knowing that we shouldn't expect the final copy any time soon, unfortunately.

For the actual content in this, it was so well-written. You can definitely tell when Stephanie Meyer writes something because she has such a mature and unique writing technique, it's very inspiring. From just reading the Twilight series I always thought that Edward was just emotionless and had a flat personality. This totally changed what I thought! Again, you really get to see him struggle with these unfamiliar emotions he's having because of this clumsy new girl. There was humour with his side of the story, which I welcomed by the way.

Meyer really played on the fact the he can read minds. I loved Edward's replies towards the mind's he would read. I couldn't believe how rude some people were to eachoother and the jealousy towards Bella! It was a huge plus because now I knew what people really thought about each other and Bella in the couple first of chapters. Namely, Jessica. Meyer literally took us to the depths of Edward's mind and thought process and it really did change the Twilight experience for me. I found myself actually liking this version better than the originals.

I really did enjoy this and I really do wish that Meyer would complete this! It would be epic and I definitely wouldn't mind the whole series in his P.O.V. It really was a game changer for Twilight and I'm definitely keeping my alerts on for whenever Meyer decides to finish the book.

Now, What I Thought:

Obviously, being a super fan of Tijan already I knew this book was going to be awesome! This book did not disappoint from the single first page, let me just tell you that. Jo, our main protagonist, was in trouble one night and for some mysterious reason Kian Maston, the golden boy loved by everyone, stopped the danger and landed himself in jail for murder. Everyone thinks it's actually Jo's fault that he was in jail for so long, until the day he comes out. With the huge news of the golden boy that saved a poor girl got released from jail, the main question on everyones mind is, where is Jo now? Well Jo is hiding with a different identity and a personal guardian around always. And I mean the whole shebang, different coloured hair, eyes and totally new name and background.

"I was a bad guy. I had done bad things but never to her. I wanted her to know that. She was the exception. She was the one, the only one, my soul would uphold above all else."

There is only one person that could potentially find Jo in her new identity and that's Kian. Little does anyone know from the media and even his family, Kian took an interest in ordinary little Jo and actually saved her because he cared, not because of 'same place same time' as said on the case. In this novel, Tijan takes us on a romantic and twisted ride through Jo and Kian's P.O.V while they make themselves back to each other and it was magical! Tijan always knows how to entertain her audience and this stand-alone was no difference.

Now, What I Thought:

I was a bit confused before reading this book. I mean, on Goodreads the review rating was 4.16/5, which is really good! Yet in the comments and written review portion, most of them were ranging between 1-2 stars. You could see my dilemma, whether to read the book or not? Boy was I glad I did. Guys. I can't stress enough about how if you want to read the book, like the concept of the book and even love the cover of the book, don't listen to the reviews that'll put you off. You can never know how you'll like a book by just reading reviews, you have to actually read it yourself. And that's exactly what I did.

This was The Bachelor meets The Hunger Games. Yes, the names were ridiculous but besides that, I actually liked America's journey to find herself and to find true love that might not be Aspen. The Caste System was pretty interesting to me, how the amount of money you had would class your family by a number. So America was a 6, therefore her and her families last name was Cohen. Now, her family moved up to a 5, in which her last name has now changed to Singer. SO WEIRD, cool but weird. The fact your last name changes with your class. It was pretty cool to see how controversial the caste system was/is. It actually plays a huge role in the later books as America and plenty of other defiant citizens wish it gone, once and for all. Of course the king isn't too happy about that and it causes America some trouble.

Prince Maxon was everything you can expect from a prince who played in riches. Nice enough, handsome, ignorant towards the poor, oh yeah and sorting through 35 girls like a game to find his wife. Guys, I KNOW it sounds so foolish and dumb but once you get into the book, it's pretty hard to put down. Cass just sucks you in with all of this detailed information about the world and the history of how it's come to this way of monarchy. Among all of the hate and dislike toward this series, there are people, like me, who actually enjoyed this book and the others to come. Read it if YOU want to read it and judge it by your own personal experience, not by others.

FYI, can I just say how funny and incredibly lucky we are to dodge the bullet of the leaked script for the adaptation tv show of this series. HOLY CRAP, it was so bad, and so different. I'll definitely link it below because EVERYONE needs to read this crap. Btw, they made Maxon into some sex-addicted teen boy lololololol.

Now, What I thought:

Damn, I've been dying to make a review about this beautiful book. This is actually one of my most re-read books. I mean, most of Tijan's books are, but this one especially. Something about Tijan's writing just gets me. It's music to my ears and I connect with it so much. She is definitely one of the most UNDER-appreciated and rated authors out there. She creates masterpieces with her words. I can think of about 95% of her work I'd like to see get turned into a movie/tv-show, and I mean in a really good Harry Potter-like adaptation.

ONTO THE BOOK ITSELF. Taryn is amazing. She is everything I need and want in a protagonist. She has her faults, like anyone else, but to me it just makes her even more relatable. Her personality reminds me most of Tijan's other character, Samantha, from Fallen Crest High. If any of you guys know that series, another amazing piece from Tijan.

ANYWAYS. Taryn is totally badass and she shows it just in the first couple pages in the cafeteria. We get to come along with her journey in this new environment and life, much to her dismay. By the way, Tray is hot hot hot, and is the obvious main love interest but can we just imagine how MUCH MORE hotter Jace is? like .. Damn. I specifically love the scenes between Jace and Taryn because their relationship is so complicated and complex, but yet so interesting to read on. Definitely some of my favourite parts are with them two together.

The characters are amazing, from Taryn to Tray to Jace to Brian to Grayley and even Mandy, whom at first I hated. But come on.. once you read the whole book, you'll learn to love everyone. Lot's of drama hits every page, from drugs, to deceit, to sex and basically illegallness in general. Especially considering what her night 'job' is. And she is hella great at what she does!

I can not recommend a book more highly than this one.

NOW being a huge fan and follower of Tijan and her novels, I suggest reading this novel first and if you loved it as much as me, you guys should check out The Original Crowd, which is basically the original version of A Whole New Crowd. And yes, somethings are changed. You can get it on kindle, and I highly recommend reading it because its just fun and to see the original copy of this story. Personally, I like the Original Crowd much better, but thats just me :) Im glad she can let us read both!

Now, What I Thought:

Guys. I own this book in 3 versions. Paperback, ibooks, and Kindle. Thats how good it is. I need it everywhere I can access it. I find myself coming back to this one a lot. I'll re read it every couple of months just because I need to remind myself of this amazing story!

Now, you might recognize Holly Black's name from her other amazing novels, Spiderwick Chronicles, The Iron Trial, Curse Workers, etc. So you can only imagine how great this stand-alone novel could be, especially with those books under her belt.

Just like the synopsis says, this world we're set in, has already been introduced to vampires. They're feared of but what make it different than any random vampire book, is that they actually don't run free in this world. Coldtowns. A homey, comfortable, welcoming.. cage. For vampires and vampire-lovers. LOOL. This immediately intrigued me! Its really interesting how Black described these towns made for monsters and humans that got a little too friendly with monsters. You can't ever leave once you step in, BUT there is a loophole. And it's crucial for Tana, our protagonist, in the novel to use that loophole, or so we think ;)

This book takes a turn for the worse, for poor Tana. I do feel bad for her, she did wake up and find all of her classmates and friends dead. Yet, LUCKILY, her annoying ass ex boyfriend managed to to 'survive'. How convenient.

In this book, you get to see how kickass Tana is, and her little group of misfits. On the romantic side, its pretty limited but our thirst's are quenched (That sounded less weirder in my head, yikes). I actually enjoyed the fact that this wasn't a star-crossed lover book, like most vampire novels are. It kept it at bay while really focusing on the action filled plot line. The ending is intense and I absolutely loved every minute I spent reading it. And reading it again, and again and so forth.

Now, What I Thought:

So to start off, this is a dystopian novel, and it's definitely different than any dystopia world I'v ever read about. The novel revolves around Kira, she's a pretty smart medic. They have her working on maternity, much to her dismay, because the human population is depleting each day. Years back, some scientists wanted to finally win the big war that was happening. They decided to create these human look-a-likes, except they're not even human. Think cyborg meets insanely attractive alien lol. Indestructible. These Partials did in fact win the big war, which was intended, but didn't stop there. They legit. took. out. more. than. half. of. the. earth's. population. TALK ABOUT BIG MISTAKES.

Now with only a couple ten-thousand humans left that did manage to hide and survive from the Partials, they're slowly dying as well. A virus, in which Kira thinks the Partial's made, RM, is killing the newborns in the maternity ward. Literally, not one baby has ever survived. Due to this and the fact that the population is lacking, laws have been put in place to ensure that at a certain age, you are eligible to produce babies. That doesn't bode well for Kira, considering she's 16 and there about to make the age from 18 to 16.

Kira, being the strong and independent individual that she is, went off looking for the RM cure. Lots of exciting things happen and its crazy to read about the after math of the world. The way Wells describes New York, Chicago, and the various other hot spots and how destroyed they are, is impeccable. Now, with every strong female protagonist, comes the love interest. I won't get into too much detail about him but lets just say.. yum hehe.

Great book, different type of story which was refreshing and I did not regret it one bit!

Now, What I Thought:

Most people that have read this book probably have one thought: wow Amelie is a B E O T C H with a capital B. Personally, I like her cruelness :) why, you might ask? HELLO, being a fan of Mrynin and Claire together, what happens in this book is just a big HURRAY.

Without spoiling much, Amelie basically punishes Claire, and her punishment is to work on something with Myrnin in his lab without leaving or anything until its done. Which I will admit is pretty harsh and mean but then some "events" wouldn't happen if she didn't muahahahaahh, now I know what your thinking, OMG DO THEY KISS? unfortunately no, I'm not that mean to make you guess but no they do not, to my dismay :( but something does happen and I'm pretty sure if Shane knew about it, he would be weeping in a corner because soon, Myrnin will sweep Claire away :)

Now being a Claire and Myrnin lover, I will admit that Shane and Claire do have a good, tender moment. I do find myself going back and re-reading some parts where its pretty touching. He loves her so much and its pretty evident in this book.

Some SERIOUS problems happens in Morganville, Claire has done something that she and someone else (but mostly herself) has to fix, and quick! If she doesn't save the town in time, she will lose everyone :(

Now, What I Thought:

OH MY GOD, I honestly thought I hated Bishop, but DAMN Rachel Caine, you made me hate even more, this Kim chick. SEE I'm angry, I hate her, like haaatee her.

I never will understand why Eve took such a liking to this girl, after what she does (read and find out) is just ridiculous. If I was Michael, I would knock some sense into Eve. This drama with Kim was just making me wish for her death some time in the story.. unfortunately she doesn't die but punishment is put on her, THANK GOD.

Now, you know how I sorta, kinda, maybe liked Ada? well, what can I say, I hate her as well. Caine really expanded on that, once, little drama and made it pretty big because peoples lives are in danger.. NOT NAMING WHO. I don't know what Myrnin saw in her, I guess she might've been different before when she was human but, surely he noticed her jealousy and obsession towards him after.. right? oh well, Myrnin, you little crazy vampire!

I think what happened between Myrnin and Claire was maybe like a bonding experience, even though it wasn't very fun but i think they really connected in this book.. YAY.. and so it begins >:)

I Could probably rant for ages about Kim, Ada, Amelie etc. but the one part of the book that I had to physically laugh out loud at, literally a huge LOL moment, was when Myrnin was showing the footage of Claire and Shane. LOOOOOL for spoiler sakes, I won't go into detail but wow did that make me die of laughter.
